To make scrumptious chocolatey creations that bring you joy when you drink them melted in a cuppa hot milk.
What started as a kitchen experiment .. was the birth of a product so decadent...
It was the week before Christmas.
And we found a chocolate stash.
Hidden by mum in the pantry.
But we found it in a flash.Within a few minutes, the kitchen turned into an explosion.And these decadent treats where born from a chocolatey potion.'Hot Choco Bombs' is what they're called.
It perfectly describes how they taste with flavour so bold!Two facebook posts and two days later..
Hundreds were ordered, so much that we couldn't cater..We were up making them the week before Christmas, from morning until dawn.
And that is how our tiny business was born.

Are HotChocoBombs dairy-free?
The Dark Chocolate HotChocoBombs are made with Whittakers 50% Dark chocolate, so they are dairy-free. We do our best to avoid contamination with dairy, but we must say that they are made on surfaces and with equipment that has been in contact with dairy.
Are HotChocoBombs gluten-free?
Unless they contain some type of biscuits, like oreos or cookies, then they are gluten-free.
Do you use natural food coloring?
Where possible, we try to use natural colors, like beetroot juice for pink. But, some other colors are harder to find so we use artificial colors. Reach out to us if you want to find out more.
How much notice do you need for special orders?
During the holidays, we can fulfill orders with 3 days notice. But during the school term, we need at least 7 days notice as we're super busy - we can't afford to not do homework or miss sport (mum threatened she'd close down the business!).If you are ordering a large quantity (30 or more) for a special occasion, we need at least 3 weeks notice.
